CIBC Artois-Tenois

The CIBC Artois-Tenois is part of the national network of CIBC created by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational in 1989. It has a highly diversified Management Board (Communauté Urbaine d’Arras councillors) representatives of the Department of Employment, job Agriculture and Trade.) A multidisciplinary counselling team recruited directly and a consultant delegated from “LA Chambre des Métiers” (Chamber of Trade) provide services such as ‘bilan de competences’ (skills check-up), skills assessment and portfolio building; career guidance and counselling for adults, consultancy and recruitment for business, guidance and counselling for APEL as well as research and development int the lifelong anf life wide learning contexts at local, national and European levels. The CIBC Artois-Ternois is responsible for managing the “platform for equal opportunities for women in employment” which analysis the current situation in our region with regard to women returners in employment and creates and experiment practical innovative solutions to remedy targeted situations. The CIBC is an active member of both the “Association Régionale des CIBC Nord Pas de Calais” and the “Fédération Nationale” (100 CIBC).

• Project management and coordination in close collaboration with coordinating partner (P2)
• Provide knowledge and expertise in the development of learner centred and attractive evaluation of both formative and informative see cd rom “les outils du métier”
• Provide knowledge and expertise acquired by the skills check up for an identification and recognition of informal learning outcomes of the target group who we work with on a daily basis
• Provide extensive field research information to feed into the creation and choice innovation tools for the WINKIT via outcomes of the Equal Opportunities for women platform managed and run by the CIBC
• Provide a wide range of networks to assist in ongoing dissemination of outcomes of all stages of the project


Corif

CORIF is a training body which has aimed at ensuring professional equality since 1987, by implementing special accompaniment for women throughout professional integration process. Corif is a resource place where people can share their experiences, a place devoted to training and counselling. We work on defining women’s project by helping her to win back her self-esteem, her self-confidence, and by developing a feeling of competence. CORIF also carries out expertise, training and counselling missions about wquality between men and women, for those involved in training and intregration as well as companies.

Role of the participant organisation in the proposed project/network

It ensures the financial coordination and monitoring in close collaboration with P1 (assistant to lead partner in WP 1). It also takes part in all partnership activities in all 6 work packages. As far as stages 1 and 2 in WP6, are concerned the CORIF is lead partner and will be especially responsible for mobilizing and coordinating, and ensuring that knowledge and resources are shared between partners. It will be compile and submit the documentary research and the first tools to be tested. It is co-organizing a transnational seminar with CIBC.


BIAT, University of Flensburg

BIAT is an institute of the University of Flensburg which deals with teaching and research in the field of Vocational Education and training. In teaching it aims at MA degrees for teachers in vocational and other VET professionals. Its research is aimed at improving VET in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as at general problems of VET and school-to-work transition. Research on the importance of key qualifications in VET and CVT has been one of the recent focuses. Furhtermore the biat has participated in and coordinated itself various European research projects in the fields of non-formal and informal learning, quality development and modularization of pre-vocational education.

Role of the participant organisation in the proposed project/network

The institution will take over different roles within the project. As an academic institution it will fulfil the role of the theory advisor for the project. It will furthermore carry through field research and evaluation of the developed products. Through its great network of satellite partners (CVET centers, Vocational Colleges, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Trade Unions) it can especially contribute to the research into development and opinions on planner and policy level. Furthermore the organisation can provide expertise in the development of self-evaluation methods as well as research related to gender and qualification from former project mentioned below.


CFL

CFL (Centre for Flexible Learning), Söderhamn, Sweden, www.cfl.soderhamn.se, is the centre for all types of adult and distance education in the municipality of Söderhamn a coastal city in the northern part of Sweden. CFL has about 60 full time staff and 700 students in part- or fulltime studies on various levels, from basic education up to university level (distance courses). CFL is a member of the Hälsingeutbildning, a distance learning network, www.halsingeutbildning.nu. CFL is also member of the NITUS network , (http://www.nitus.org) a joint non-profit organisation for providing college education and other levels of education and other levels of education through local study centres nation-wide. CFL has coordinated many local and regional projects, both EU (Socrates, Leonardo) and domestic. We are at the moment promoter for a Leonardo thematic action procedure C project concerning validation and EPEL, the EuroguideVAL project, CFL is one of five adult learning centres that has been selected as “best practices” in the Europe by the study “Developing local learning centres (2006, Research voor beleid/university of Leiden/ESREA)” initiated by the European commission (DG Education and culture)

• Responsibility for the equality management of both the project and productions.
• Provide expertise on Guidance and counselling with regard to the specific needs of the target group
• Provide knowledge and advice on designing and implementing learner centred adult training strategies
• Oversee and monitor the development of the website and learner diary mentoring blogs
• Mobilise high quality dissemination networks via national responsibilities held


Kadis

Kadis d.o.o. provides wide range of training and other human resource services. From 1995 on we carry out various workshops and programmes for the unemployment of Employment Service of Slovenia – job search workshops, job-clubs, IT and foreign language training, counselling and monitoring for unemployment participants in public-work programme. We provide services also for individuals and companies: individual career counselling, career development, recruitment, training of employees, implantation of labour law proceedings etc- Quality and effectiveness is our high priority and this can be seen (among others) in the result of ICTEm project, which was chosen among Top 50 Leonardo da Vinci projects. Our councellors and other staff have broad range experience and expertise which are necessary to successfully work with the unemployment and achieve good results in all our programmes. Our counsellors (some phychologists) have experience in working with long term unemployment and unemployment with particularly difficult situations. We are continuously searching for methods to increase effectiveness of training and employment programmes. We could use the methodology and products developed in the WINKIT project in our daily work with unemployment women, since Kadis is specialised in identifying and developing skills of unemployment people and is us such a concessionaire of Employment Service of Slovenia.

Role of the participant organisation in the proposed project/network

• Provide a wide range of expertise and experience in the field of guidance and counselling, management and development of skills and competence, human resource management, project management and a broad network for dissemination of The WINKIT project results.
• Assist in the design and experimentation of the WINKIT tools as we work with the target group on a daily basis.
• Assist all partners with managing the quality and effectiveness of the WINKIT productions
• Transfer their competence in excellence in European projects (see results of ICTEM project, chosen among top 50 Leonardo da Vinci projects)
